Return Policy

Afrocity is committed to ensuring a smooth and transparent shopping experience for both customers and vendors. This Return Policy outlines the conditions and processes for returning items purchased through our multi-vendor e-commerce platform, including the website ("Website") and mobile applications ("Apps").
You may request to return an item if:
The product was delivered in a defective or damaged condition.
The product received is significantly different from its description.
The wrong product was delivered.
You initiate the return request within 7 days of receiving the product.
The following items are not eligible for returns:
Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, etc.).
Custom-made or personalized items.
Products that have been used, altered, or are not in their original condition and packaging.
Intimate items (e.g., underwear, swimwear) due to hygiene concerns.
Digital products or services once accessed or downloaded.
Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase.
To initiate a return, follow these steps:
Submit a Request: Contact us at support@afrocity.ng or through the Afrocity app/website by navigating to the "Help Center" or "Order History."
Provide Proof: Include the following information:
Order number.
Clear photos or videos of the product showing the issue.
A detailed description of the problem.
Receive Authorization: Once your return request is approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions on how to send the item back.
For defective, damaged, or incorrect items, the vendor will cover the return shipping costs.
For other return reasons, customers are responsible for the return shipping fees.
All items must be returned using a trackable shipping method. Afrocity or the vendor is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
Once the returned item is received, it will be inspected to verify its condition and eligibility for a return.
If approved, you may opt for a replacement, store credit, or a refund as per Afrocity’s Refund Policy.
Each vendor on Afrocity may have additional return policies. Review the vendor’s terms and conditions on their store page before making a purchase.
