At Afrocity, customer satisfaction is a priority. If you are not satisfied with a product purchased on our platform, you may be eligible for a refund under the terms outlined in this Refund Policy. This policy applies to purchases made through the Afrocity website ("Website") and mobile applications ("Apps").


1. Eligibility for Refunds

You may request a refund if:

  1. The product was defective, damaged, or significantly different from its description upon delivery.

  2. The product was not delivered within the agreed time frame (subject to the shipping policy).

  3. You initiate the refund request within 7 days of receiving the product.


2. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

  1. Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, etc.).

  2. Custom-made or personalized items.

  3. Products that have been used, damaged, or are not in their original condition.

  4. Digital products or services once accessed or downloaded.

  5. Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Refundable" at the time of purchase.


3. Refund Process

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Submit a Request: Contact us at refunds@afrocity.ng or through the Afrocity app/website by navigating to the "Help Center" or "Order History."

  2. Provide Proof: Include the following information:

    • Order number.

    • Clear photos of the product showing the defect or issue (if applicable).

    • A detailed description of the problem.

  3. Return the Item: If the product needs to be returned, you will receive instructions for shipping it back to the vendor. Returns must include the original packaging and all accessories.


4. Refund Approval and Timeline

  • Refunds are processed after verifying the issue and receiving the returned item (if applicable).

  • Once approved, the refund will be credited to your wallet within 7-10 business days. Processing times may vary


5. Shipping Costs

  • If the refund is due to a defective or incorrect product, the vendor will cover the return shipping cost.

  • For other reasons, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fees.

Each vendor on Afrocity may have additional refund or return policies. Ensure you review the vendor’s specific terms on their store page before making a purchase.
